Energy drinks are great for that caffeine boost, but most of them are not made with ingredients that are great for our overall health. MAKINA is a conceptual product that would compete in the energy drinks market with a healthier alternative. I also found there are healthier alternative in the market already, but they don't have the look and feel to atract a younger demographic with an active nightlife as well as a very active lifestyle.

The key component to MAKINA is Yerba Mate, derived from a plant in South America and used mainly in the famous hot "mate" drink. The vision is to have this ingredient with natural flavours as a cold, refreshing solution to young people that love to go out and rave, but also want to take care of their health wilth a healthy alternative that looks good on hand while providing the energy they need the next day.
From it's launch, the vision for MAKINA is to not only provide a healthy alternative to energy drinks, but also provide a product with the look and feel that would actually connect with this audience by using rave culture and nightlife references as the main inspiration for it's visual identity.
